The Brand
Crafted from 100% stainless steel, and finished by hand, the Sussex towel rail is designed to last a lifetime. All JIS rails can replace the existing radiator in the bathroom and provide a stunning modern look with plenty of space to dry and warm towels. Each rail is manufactured with standard 1/2” BSP tappings and is pressure tested to 12 Bar. Our rails are suitable for all plumbing systems including open systems. BTU/Watt figures are based on T=60K. We recommend that all plumbing work is carried out by a qualified plumber.
The Sussex Range of towel rails are also available in electric only format. The unique JIS element (as above) is constructed from stainless steel and designed to be minimal in appearance. This element also has a built in thermostat which prevents the rail from becoming too hot and saves on running costs.
Why Stainless Steel and Not Chrome?
There are no chemical plating processes in the manufacture of stainless steel. Because of the lack of plating, stainless steel rails will not rust, flake or corrode and small marks and scratches can be polished out, making these rails a very durable choice. Stainless steel is produced from over 90% recycled metal, manufactured environmentally and is 100% recyclable itself. Thes towel rails will last a lifetime, manufactured from 304 (catering grade) stainless steel with 316 (marine grade) stainless steel welds. With no known health risks and totally hygienic, you are making the ethical and durable choice.
Specification
Standard Electric Option
As standard, all elements are fitted on the right hand side of the towel rail. Left hand elements are available on request. The standard element is constructed from 100% Stainless Steel. It is IP66 rated and designed to be minimal in appearance. This element also has a built in thermostat which automatically prevents the towel rail from becoming too hot and saves on running costs
Standard Dual Fuel Kit Option
The dual fuel kits allow you to heat up your towel rail electrically when your central heating is turned off. Dual Fuel kits include an electric element and chrome plated t-piece. This allows the elements and central heating valve to be connected to one side. Left hand dual fuel is available on request, otherwise it is located on the right hand side as standard. Note - Valves need to be ordered seperately.
